Biography

Xiaoyu Wang is a classically trained guzheng and zhongruan musician with over 20 years of experience in performance and education. She holds the title of Senior Guzheng Instructor certified by the China Conservatory of Music and is devoted to preserving and sharing traditional Chinese music through public concerts, cultural collaborations, and teaching. She currently serves as Principal and Guzheng Instructor at the Manitoba Great Wall Chinese Zither Institute in Winnipeg, Canada.

• Teach guzheng to students of all ages, from beginners to advanced players
• Organize student concerts, cultural showcases, and inter-institutional exchange events
• Promote Chinese traditional music in local schools, festivals, and multicultural programs. Assisted in a MAC-School program in 2025 spring.
