Submit your personal listing details to the Artists in Schools’ Artist Listing. This is a public resource for Manitoba educators to search and find artists ready to partner in an Artists in Schools grant application.

Note: It will take a day or so for the information you provide to appear live on the site.

  • Biography

  • Write a brief version of your biography. This will be seen when sharing your listing on social media, on search result snippets, etc. However, it will not appear on your listing.
  • Write a detailed biography describing your background, experience working with children and youth, and previous activities relevant to arts education. This bio will appear on your listing.
    What grade levels are you prepared to work with?
    Note: The “Indigenous Arts” disciplinary option is intended to connect teachers with Indigenous artists looking to share their arts or cultural practices with students. First Nations, Métis and Inuit artists are welcome, but certainly not required, to select this option. If you are not Indigenous, please do not select this option.   • Please indicate what regions of the province you are prepared to work in. Please note that you can apply for travel and accommodations within your grant application. You may also be eligible for the Northern and Remote Incentive (an additional $1,500) if the school you work with is in a Northern or remote community.     Provide a description of the types of projects you can offer. Your project samples should be used as a jumping-off point for your collaboration with a school.

    Provide testimonials from your previous work with children. These could come from educators, principals, parents, or the students themselves.

  • Media

  • Upload This is the photo that will appear on the Artist Listing page. TIP: a clear, well-lit headshot or photo of yourself will perform best!

  • Additional Media

    Provide photos, video, or audio samples of your previous activities relevant to arts education. Please note that content that depicts under-age children may be shared on the Artists in Schools website only if appropriate consent from a parent or guardian for every child depicted has been secured. It is your responsibility to ensure that all content has received appropriate permissions.
