Biography
Nishtis Collective's current Firekeepers, Victoria Perrie, Emily Solstice and Katie German are offering workshops focused on Dance, Spoken Word Poetry, Acting, Musical Theatre and Criminal Law from an Indigenous perspective.
Each workshop is developed from over 20 years of professional experience as performing artists in dance, theatre, musical theatre, and law. Workshops run 2 hours and can be adapted to age, ability, and content focus that best suits group needs. We would love to discuss what our workshops would look like for you or design something specifically that fits unique interests.

Courtroom Theatre Workshop
This workshop is designed for participants to learn about the legal process through theatre. Participants will learn the roles within the courtroom, learn to make arguments, and present a short courtroom drama. Participants will build an understanding of how to approach legal concepts through the seven sacred teachings.
Storytelling through Dance Workshop
This workshop is designed to build an understanding how to listening to your body can be a source of creativity, confidence, and expression of your own story. Following this workshop, participants will have built the foundation for building their own movement phrases based on the principles of the seven sacred teachings.
Storytelling through Musical Theatre Workshop
This workshop is designed to build a base for storytelling through Musical Theatre. Following this workshop, participants will have built the foundations for telling a story through singing, dancing and acting based on the principles of the seven sacred teachings.
