An Introduction to Songwriting

This program would focus on students looking to begin writing their own songs. The focus would be on writing lyrics, song structure basics, and creating/obtaining music to write to. The goal would be for students to create their own songs over the course of the program, which would then be kindly critiqued and shared to the class.

An Introduction to Music Production

This program would be focused on high-school aged students with access to laptops or computers. I'll be going over what equipment and software is needed to get started and how to begin using these things to actually create music. The goal would be for students with an interest or some experience in music production to get the skills and knowledge necessary to begin their own music production journey.

An Introduction to Making Original Music

This program would focus on students interested in creating music who don't yet know how to get started. The basics of making a melody, choosing chords, lyric-writing and more would be discussed in general and with each student individually. The goal of this program would be to get each student to create original music and to nurture their sense of creativity in the classroom.
